		Installation Procedure: Please read the back of the Digital Fashion Pro Box for installation instructions as well as watch the introduction video located on Disc 1 of Digital Fashion Pro.

Installation Problem? It could be your Virus Protector / Firewall:

	Did you put one or more of the disc inside your computer and your computer isn’t recognizing the CD or you’re getting an error message?

Typically when a customer has a problem with installing more than one disc, it turns out that their virus protector / firewall settings are too high. To fix this problem, follow these steps: (1.) Disable your virus protector by going into the settings of it and disable it. (2.) Then try to install Digital Fashion Pro or the components that you were having a problem with. Step (3) if necessary: If you still have a problem, completely uninstall your virus protector. (4.) Then try to install Digital Fashion Pro or the components that you were having a problem with. Following these steps should solve your problem. Once Digital Fashion Pro is installed, reactivate or reinstall your virus protector.

Video Issues: How to make sure your video is showing clear

Videos are designed to play in Windows Media Player. Make sure you have version 11 or higher. Also be sure you watch the video in Full Screen Mode to ensure the best viewing quality. While inside of Windows Media Player - Click View in the top menu and scroll down to Full Screen Mode. Tip: Use the stop and go method when trying to duplicate what you learn in the videos. Meaning: Pause video, duplicate the steps in Digital Fashion Pro, then un-pause video. Follow these steps until you complete the training. 	System Requirements to use Digital Fashion Pro - For PC Users:.............



		You must have a PC running Windows 2000, Windows XP, Vista to use Digital Fashion Pro. You also need 2 GB of free disk space on your hard drive. Windows Media Player for the Video Tutorials that will take you step by step through designing your first garment. These are the only things you need to run DF Pro.


	System Requirements to use Digital Fashion Pro - For MAC Users:.........



		First you must have an Intel Mac OS X Operating System. This is a MAC with a dual processor - one of which is the Intel Processor. You must also have the Mac software called Parallel which let’s you run Windows XP or Vista on your computer which will in turn allow you to run PC software such as Digital Fashion Pro. Next you must have Windows XP with service pack II (Sold from Mac or over the internet from other XP Retailers). You also need 2 GB of free disk space on your hard drive. 	Manipulating the Templates - Help

Manipulating Templates in Digital Fashion Pro. There are a few things to remember. Digital Fashion Pro is like having a pencil with a eraser and a piece of paper. To alter templates, you simply erase a line that you don’t want using Eraser Tool and then redraw your new lines in the shape that you want with the Pen Tool. The thing to remember is when you redraw your new lines - be sure to make sure the line width is the same as the overall size of the lines of the template. You can just adjust the line width until it fully matches the size of the lines in the templates. This process is actually covered in the tutorials.

For reference: most templates in the system have line widths that are between the width of 4 and 11. Another thing to keep in mind is whether you are drawing a straight line or a curved line. When drawing a line that curves, be sure to set your Pen Tool to freehand. If you are drawing a straight line, set your Pen Tool to single line. Play with all of the settings to get familiar with using the Pen Tool to draw. Another quick tip is before altering a template, make sure you are working on a copy rather than the original template.
