How Digital Fashion Pro works. Steps to designing with it. |

Exactly How Does Digital Fashion Pro Work? |
|
|
|
This is just a basic example of how Digital Fashion Pro works. Starting with a template that can be changed and manipulated at anytime. See the design process below: |

1. Locate a template similar to what you want to design by browsing through templates by category. For this example: We took a ladies front template from the Ladies/Dresses/Front-side Folder located in Digital Fashion Pro. The other example is taken from Men’s T-shirts. |

2. Locate the fabric you want to use while browsing through over 300 Digital Fabrics located in the Digital Fabric folder or 1,300 Digital Fabrics if you get the Fabric Upgrade or Maximum Version. We chose a Denim Digital Fabric and a Cotton Fabric for this step. |

3. We then use the Fill Tool while adjusting the scale adjuster to fill in the template with the digital denim fabric we decided to go with. On the T-shirt - we drew seam / line across the chest with the Pen Tool. |

4. Next we add stitch lines by using the Pen Tool on the Dress. With T-shirt we filled it with the fabric we chose in step 2. The we added large stitch lines to it for dramatic effect using the Pen Tool as well. |

You can use Digital Fashion Pro to chart your measurements as seen below. Your seamstress or manufacturer will appreciate this because they can see exactly how your garment is supposed to look and fit. The measurements you plug in will also help you or others make accurate patterns for your styles.
